About Me

Hello, people!

The blogger’s name is Ria, and I welcome you all to my nook!

Yours truly is a college student, currently majoring in Communication Research, with a knack for interesting things worth the wonder in the world. I am a hobby writer with a strong will to learn more about the principles philosophy, of history, and of science. I am not an expert on the said fields of study, but I love dwelling deeper into them. Through these I started to think more of what the world has to offer. I found out that these vary from person to person, and apparently, from nation to nation as well. And there my interest developed; alas I discovered my true claim–Culture and the Arts.

Unraveling the mysteries behind a remarkable place is something I do to feed my curiosity. I love learning new things about people, their beliefs, their practices, their language, the food they create, and basically about their culture. When Korean pop culture boomed in the country, I also got pulled through it. I also am a Japanese culture enthusiast, admiring their practices by heart. The same goes with my interest towards the western part of the earth. My love for reading classic novels and travelling books took me to places clear as day in my head. And it showed me again other amazing cultural facts about the world.

But let us not forget the Arts. The Arts is always associated with Culture; in fact it is an aspect of Culture, and that it adds inspiration in the hearts of the foreign people. But why would I separate it? Simply because it is incredibly broad if we are to consider all of the aspects of Art within it. However in my own terms and interest, and in this blog’s scope, there are only a select few of which I would include.

I appreciate works of art more than anything else–literature, craftsmanship, photography, traditional art, film, music and many more others. I also consider it as something subjective; because what is art for me may not be art for you. But in relation to this blog, I surely will insert ideas that will somehow make one think through regarding this wonderful discipline.

This blog is dedicated to help people understand, adore, preserve, cultivate, and appreciate the beautiful works of man and nature through the articles that will be published in here.

The world is wonderful. I just had to show it to people in a different light.
